From Václav Havel Airport Prague to Cheb

Option 1: Direct bus from the airport to Cheb (RegioJet).

This is the most convenient option, as no transfer in Prague is required. Travel time is approximately 2.5-3 hours. The price is around 250 CZK depending on availability.

Option 2: Train from Prague Hlavní Nádraží – Main Railway Station (České dráhy).

Trains from the main railway station take approximately 3-5 hours and cost 300-500 CZK. Intercity trains (IC) are the quickest options.

To reach the station from the airport:

• Take the Airport Express – AE bus (every 30 minutes, 200 CZK ) from Terminal 1 directly to the Main Railway Station.
• Alternatively, you can use standard public transport (see below).

Option 3: Flixbus from Florenc/ Hradčanská

First travel by public transport to Florenc (metro line C – red line), then take a FlixBus to Cheb.

Some FlixBus routes also stop at Hradčanská (metro line A – green line), which is closer to the airport, so it is possible to travel only from there instead of going to Florenc.

Travel time is approximately 2.5-3 hours. The price is 160-250 CZK depending on availability.

Prague Public Transport Information

• Take trolleybus 59 from the airport to Nádraží Veleslavín (metro line A – green).
  • Continue by metro to Hradčanská (Flixbus) OR
  • Continue to Muzeum, then change to line C (red line) to reach Hlavní Nádraží (Main Railway Station) or Florenc (Main Bus Station).

A 90-minute public transport ticket costs 50 CZK. Tickets can be purchased from vending machines at the airport, tobacco shops, or via mobile apps.

Make sure to validate (time-stamp) your paper ticket immediately after boarding the trolleybus or upon entering the metro, using the yellow validation boxes, or activate your ticket in the mobile app before starting your journey.
